The word they didn’t change

I handed in a script last year and the studio didn’t change one word. The word they didn’t change was on page 87. (Steve Martin)

I couldn’t catch the intent of Steve here. Claudia - Would you mind explaining.
Well, Deb, Steve is being ironic here. TV and movie’s scripts are changed so much that sometimes, the final draft barely reminds any of the original script. So, he’s kiding about a script he sent, in which they changed everything, except for one and only word, in page 87. Funny, don’t you think?
Oh No…Seems like I am becoming dumber each passing day. I got it now, thank you. And wish things are good your end.
No problem!
